"We particularly enjoyed the following: great wildlife (both on the lake and in the bush), very knowledgable and friendly guides, very friendly manager, good facilities, interesting cuisine, communal meals under the stars.

The fact that there were only 12 tents made for a very friendly atmosphere."

"Stunning views, amazing accommodation (we were actually upgraded to a suite), good wildlife, incredible service. The food was of an exceptional high standard and we enjoyed the communal meals very much.

Again, it was great that the camp was so small and it was very easy to meet people.

Of the 2 managers, Cloe was particularly helpful."

"Good location, nicely refurbished building with great rooftop restaurant and bar.

However, our spposedly superior room didn't have any furniture apart from a bed and bedside tables. It would have been useful to have had a wardrobe in the room or a chest of drawers for clothes and a couple of chairs.

The electricity shortcircuited twice and the first time it took them a whole day to sort it out, despite various reminders and assurances that it was going to / had been done. We saw a rat in the restaurant and although the hotel was supposed to have credit card facilities we were sent out to get cash.

Overall, the service was disappointing."
