ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
Zambia between 25 Feb 2013 and 9 Mar 2013
"Ellie did an excellent job organising the whole trip for the four of us. When Chinzombo was unavailable, she organised a very good deal with Norman Carr Safaris which was very much appreciated.
I would highly recommend Expert Africa to anyone who is thinking of going to Southern Africa and I am very pleased to find out that Expert Africa are now going into Kenya, which two of us are hoping to visit shortly.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
None at all. Everything was incredibly well organised. Can't fault anything."

"This was such a fun place. The camp manager, Katie went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Nothing was too much trouble and she was a joy to talk to. The staff were brilliant, helpful and so so courteous. When one of our party was ill, Katie arranged a boat transfer to see the local GP at Kapani. No fuss, but extremely efficient organisation. On our last day she organised an English scone and cream tea which was thoroughly appreciated. Our last night was spent having a wonderful dinner with Katie as we were the only people left in the camp. Sad to say goodbye to the staff, but luckily Katie came back with us to Kapani to deal with her office work.
One point would be that when Kakuli is updated, they organise slightly better lighting and also a fan would be greatly appreciately in the very hot weather. The rooms were slightly stifling at night."

"As I said before [Ed: see below], this camp is just perfect. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay just wonderful. Christina, the camp director was such fun and made all of our stay hilarious.
This is the best holiday that the four of us have had and I couldn't recommend Norman Carr Safaris highly enough. Their attention to detail was brilliant.
A few tears were shed in the truck after saying goodbye to Christina, Katie & Mario. Hopefully we will return in the dry season and give Brian & Simon some more incredibly difficult targets to find! They were both so patient with our endless questions on why they couldn't find Aardvarks & Pangolins!!! Brian did find us wild dogs which was a great credit to him.
Norman Carr Safaris is highly recommend by all four of us."

Pioneer Camp
"Very handy for an early flight from Lusaka."

"When the government levels out the road, it will be much more comfortable to travel to the camp. At the moment, its a kidney-bashing trip, but nevertheless quite good fun.
The camp itself was extremely well fitted out and the bar area was warm, comfortable and very well decorated. As our room was a bit away from the main lodge, the in-house driver dropped us off and collected us for a quick breakfast before taking us to Lusaka Airport.
Our room was very nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of room to scatter our luggage!!
Even though we arrived quite late, the stand-in manager, Phil, made sure we had toasted sandwiches to keep us going."

One thought was that maybe the evening meal could be buffet style, instead of a fixed menu. The lunches were buffet style so we could choose what to eat. They were beautifully prepared and a joy to eat. This is of course, a very personal opinion."
