My Jul 2011 trip
Seychelles between 24 Jul 2011 and 4 Aug 2011
"Overall we really enjoyed our trip. It was a great experience and the kids (15 & 17) loved the hotels, beaches and most of the food. We knew the weather would not be great in July / August but the clouds were not a problem in the heat. Only 2 of the 10 days were dull.
The Seychelles people are friendly but don't expect anything to happen in a hurry. The agent "Mason's" seems to run the Seychelles and the itineries but they are very efficient and always around if you need anything. Not keen on the early filght home but the hotel Constance Ephelia started breakfast at 4.30 a.m."

"Despite reading poor reviews beforehand we were very pleased with the standard of the rooms and friendliness of the staff - the maid even completely tidied my teenage kids' garden chalet room which was totally unexpected and very gratefully received!
Beautiful grounds but mosquitos a bit of a nuisance. Food - table d'hote excellent, creole buffet so so, breakfast choice good given the few people staying.
Bike hire is a must but we weren't very keen on Anse Source d'Argent as a beach, although great for photos."

"A wonderful stay"

"Although the weather wasn't great, we had a wonderful stay.
Head for the north beach if the wind is high on the south beach. Sadly to much sand in the water for any decent snorkelling in the bays but plenty of other activities to do - some of them do start a little early though.
Best buffet food of the holiday, the Cyann restaurant was a lovely experience - men's dress code applies for dinner, I believe sleeves, no shorts and closed toe shoes!"

Lovely grounds to walk around and plenty of extra things to do. Anse Lazio beach in the north of the island was wonderful, our favourite beach of the holiday (probably anywhere) but take food and drink as the restaurants there are really expensive."
