"We were a little surprised at how few outlets took credit cards. So it is best to bring a lot of dollars or face having to go to ATMs which might well limit you to small withdrawals.

Wherever we went in Zimbabwe the people, of whatever colour or origin, were unfailingly friendly and helpful. And at no time did we ever feel other than safe! All in all we had a splendid trip, such that it is in our minds to return to Zimbabwe at some time in the future.

"Excellent holiday, far exceeded our expectations.

Felt safe throughout the trip. Tranfers at borders ran smoothly as did the car rental return All the staff at the lodges very professional and helpful. On reflections I think we would have rather stayed in slightly larger lodges. This is because sometimes we were the only ones there so lots of the activities were not on offer or to expensive as there was only the two of us. Food throughout was of a very high standard. Also the fact that the pound against the South African Rand is high made it a very good value holiday.!

We used our credit cards at all the lodges and camps therefore did not need to take large wads of money.. In Kasane where we filled up with petrol, before handing back the car they took any currency, rand, sterling Dollars etc and the rate of exchange was on par with banks. "This truly was a holiday of a lifetime. We had an absolutely fantastic time.

We saw far more than we'd hoped in terms of the wildlife - they were more numerous, more varied and more close up than we'd hoped. We saw so many birds we almost lost count - 63 species in total that we remembered to write down. Everyone in Zimbabwe was so friendly and made us feel very welcome.

"From the very beginning, Sabina could not have been more helpful and patient with 2 complete Africa novices!

The itinerary was beautifully constructed, never repeating experiences and building our excitement. There was not a day that we would have changed and many where we wished we had had longer.

The choice of accommodation suited us. The transfers, in fact everything, went smoothly.

"We had a great time on this trip. The driving in Namibia is easy and well sign posted. Our extra trip to Damaraland and Hoanib, caused by Wilderness Safaris not confirming Camp Kipwe, were interesting but messed up our leisurely 3 days we had planned at the start of a very busy holiday. However they were great experiences and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

All other arrangements ran beautifully smoothly and Expert Africa''s advice was spot on. I would recommend Expert Africa for African holidays as they are so well thought out and meticulously planned.

"I found Expert Africa a very reasuring company to use.

Having got a white water rafting trip arranged, I wanted to extend my trip to include a safari. After speaking with both Claire and Nick, they recommended going to Hwange and trying 2 different camps in different areas of the park. They also arranged my flights out to Southern Africa and the transfers from the end of my rafting trip to the start of the safari section of my trip.

"We normally try to avoid late October because of the heat but I'm really glad we made the trip at this time of year. Game viewing was simply excellent and I was surprised how few others were travelling.

Our only comment would be that in your brochure, trip examples and prices seem to be top end and expensive, which could easily stop potential clients actually contacting you. Some mid range price examples might be a good idea.

We almost did not contact you in the first instance as we thought you would be too expensive, when in fact you are very competitive.
