"My Apr 2013 trip"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 1 Apr 2013 and 19 Apr 2013
"We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed every minute! Organisation was perfect, thank you Megan!

As we particularly enjoyed our walking safari, we will definitely plan more walking and boat trips for our next safari. Leaving Africa was, again, very hard. But we're already dreaming about going back!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

It would be great to be informed whether camps accept children." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 16 on a Botswana safari

"A Great 3 weeks all round Namibia"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 24 Mar 2013 and 14 Apr 2013
"Apart from Budgets 4*4 which was rubbish (I have detailed it separately) it was a smooth, easy and enjoyable trip. We drove ourselves from Windhoek to Fish River, then back up through all the places one needs to see to Etosha, then along the Caprivi Strip, dropping car off at Kasene in Botswana, crossing the border by boat into Zambia and flying back from Zambia

My rating of "fairly satisfactory" reflects our problems with Budget - but Expert Africa did recommend Budet, rather than me asking for it. The rest of the trip wa better than "very satisfactory" and I was impressed by Expert Africa's knowledge and help, nudging me to avoid driving to far if we were likely to have to drive after dark, and offering help when hotels were wanted were book (remember you are dealing with hotels of 10 to 20 rooms on most of our trip)

In short I can recommend this sort of trip to anyone, it is doable, safe, instructive and enjoyable." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 18 on a Namibia trip

"An absolutely wonderful holiday."

I visited Rwanda and 3 other countries between 30 Dec 2012 and 23 Jan 2013
"This was our first trip to Africa and, thanks to Saskia Adye's excellent help and advice, it was a thoroughly memorable and enjoyable month-long holiday with fantastic game sightings as well as lots of cultural interactions.

We were extremely happy with all of our accommodation and transfers. The only disappointment was Rwandair Express which is the most unreliable airline that we've ever flown with, but Saskia did warn me of that in advance so I should have taken her advice to fly SAA instead!

Would highly recommend Expert Africa - and Saskia Adye in particular - to anyone planning a trip to this fascinating continent.

"Our eleventh Expert Africa experience"

I visited Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 28 Dec 2012 and 12 Jan 2013
"This, our eleventh, trip with Expert Africa was arranged at very short notice. As always EA in general and, in thjis instance, Claire Scott in particular, pulled out all the stops to find an itinerary which worked for us and we were delighted with the results.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

We are very impressed by the outcome of the upgrading of the website. And we welcome the addition to the EA portfolio of Kenya, which we are currently actively investigating with an eye to our twelfth EA-arranged trip." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zimbabwe safari

"Safari Trip"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 21 Oct 2012 and 30 Oct 2012
"We could have done with a bit more advice on tipping at the camps. We were a little unprepared as to this cost but certainly did not begrudge anyone their tips!

"My Oct 2012 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 20 Oct 2012 and 26 Oct 2012
"The trip was very good.

The Silver Tours transfer to and from the Hwange Main Camp were 1/2 to 1 hour late each way. Next time, we would likely schedule and earlier pickup time than 10:30 AM, since they're likely to be late anyway. We would also fly in and out of Livingstone Airport. Even with the construction, it seemed better to us than Victoria Falls Airport. We would probably arrange the Devil's Pool activity later in the day, since it includes breakfast on the island in the morning - when we already have breakfast provided at the hotel." "Zambia - amazing country"

I visited Zambia between 19 Oct 2012 and 31 Oct 2012
"Zambia was amazing and I would highly recommend it to people who want to go on safari in Africa.

Expert put together a great trip for us. Everything was so well arranged, we didn't have to think or worry about anything from the time we arrived to the time we left.

Robin Pope Safaris are a great company. They have everything planned and thought out for you. The staff are amazing, from the hosts to the guides to the chefs and the waiting staff. No stone is left unturned. You are made to feel totally at home when you arrive at the camp. I travelled with my parents and for them it was a trip of a life time. They didn't know what to expect so were totally blown away when they arrived.

Thanks to everyone for a great holiday
