"Nice location on the coast"

"Good location. Easy to walk into town for restaurants and visiting. The walk to the lighthouse at the end of the road is a worthwhile visit.
A very comfortable room with well equipped kitchenette and balcony with a view of the ocean.
A quiet town on the weekend with most places closed by 1:00pm on the Saturday. Still, we enjoyed a nice walk around the town following the Bradt guide book suggested walk." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia

"Spoilt by a very poor duvet which we didn`t discover till we went to bed at night. Eventually rectified the next day.
As a visitor we thought Island cottage was too far out of town and to be honest we didn`t think much of the town, especially when all the attractions and the best pub in town shut at the weekend.

"Strange Luderitz!"

"The self-catering cottage was adequate and comfortable.
It is a little far from the centre of Luderitz, restaurants etc to make walking a comfortable option.
We arrived on a Sunday, and as the guide book suggests Luderitz closes all day, so choice was limited.
The owner was most helpful, and the breakfast arrangements with Kairos Cottage next door worked well" See all these reviews: 26n in Namibia

"Modern, newer condos with lots of space. Great view of the bay and the island(s), not far from town at all.
As this was a self catering accommodation, there is no rating on food or service although there was an excellent breakfast place a few doors down and the reception was friendly and efficient.

"Island Cottage review"

"Stunning location right on the coast at Luderitz. We stayed in Flamingo Cottage which is right on the front and overlooks the bay. Good location for view and for walking into town. Lovely clean, bright, comfortable apartment.
One thing to note, when we booked it said "B&B" on the voucher but Island Cottage do not offer B&B.
It didn't matter as the apartment is semi self catering and has a fridge, plates and cutlery and a hot plate. (But no cooker.) So you could prepare breakfast or light meals but would have to go out for anything more substantial. This was a perfect, unfussy apartment in an excellent location. Recommended." "To keep costs down, stayed 2 nights self catering, adequately appointed.
Sea view to the right hand side now mostly blocked by the building of a large house next door. Arrived Sat pm and found only Portuguese supermarket open with limited produce. New Spar supermarket open on Sunday am saved the day!" See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia
