My Oct 2014 trip
Botswana and 1 other country between 3 Oct 2014 and 15 Oct 2014
"This was our first safari and it exceeded our expectations by a very long margin. The fact that we saw so much wildlife was not down to luck but to on-the-ground expertise by all concerned. The three camps that we visited were all first class and the variation in habitat was ideal.
The advice given to us regarding the choice of country and the compilation of the trip by Nick was first class and the organisation of every element was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Expert Africa to anyone considering a wildlife safari in Africa.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Just keep-up the good work"

"This is definitely a five star camp. The staff and accommodation were excellent. Our guide, Mocks, had the most incredible ability to track and locate so many species of wildlife. We followed Leopards and Lions through the bush, saw a herd of Elephants crossing the river and enjoyed our evening meal with an Elephant eating leaves from a tree less than 10 metres away.
"Do you ever see Hippos out of the water" asked my wife. "Very rarely" replied Mocks, but within less than fifteen minutes, across an open area of grassland ran three Hippos, before descending into the water, leaving just their heads visible, as usual.
These are memories that will last forever. Thank you DumaTau."

"A very comfortable camp in a location full of wildlife, if somewhat spread out. The camp staff were very helpful and extremely attentive and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.
The Land Rover trips were long and very bumpy at times but the rewards at the end of each run were spectacular. We thought the Lions and Leopards were thrilling but when or guide found a Cheetah, words cannot describe our excitement."

"A true five star hotel very much in the colonial style. Our room was extremely comfortable and relaxing, which was just what was required after eight days on safari, being bounced around in a Land Rover.
Three restaurants provide differing dining experiences, although we were unable to sample all as our stay was limited. The evening entertainment at the Jungle Junction restaurant was excellent and slightly hypnotic.
The location of the hotel for visiting the Falls is excellent. Just a short, albeit hot, walk to the Park entrance.
This hotel provided an excellent conclusion to out outstanding Botswana Safaris."

The bird life in the reed beds was spectacular and the excitement on being challenged by a very large bull Elephant along a narrow reed channel cannot be described!
On land, the highlight had to be the encounter with two lionesses and their four cubs, just feet from our Land Rover. What a safari!"
