"Everything we had hoped for and more"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 3 Oct 2009 and 18 Oct 2009
"Best safari we have ever had.

Suggestions for mprovements:

You probably need to put more emphasis on the point you made about ensuring that US Dollars are post 2001. I ordered mine from my bank via the internet, and although I specified that they nwere needed for Tanzania i was give two $50 Dollar bills which were not accepted. I am taking up the matter with my bank's foreign exchange department. They should know better." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 6 on a Tanzania safari

"Tanazian Adventure"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 26 Sep 2009 and 8 Oct 2009
"Overall we were very satisfied with our holiday. On hind sight, there are only 2 things that would have have heightened our satisfaction. One was the order of the trip: we would have preferred to have stopped in Zanzibar first not last (see comments on this section of the feedback form).

The rest of the trip schedule was perfect - Arusha, Mahale & then Selous.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience!" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 10 on a Tanzania safari

"Chada/Greystoke - Nomad camps"

I visited Tanzania between 7 Sep 2009 and 21 Sep 2009
"On past trips we have tended to prefer smaller, individually run places and I was not sure how I would like these two "top of the range" places. However, I was very impressed by Nomad. Good policies on local involvement (running trips for local kids and dignitaries into the park at Chada, gifts in the "shop" made by local women and sold with profits fed back to the village school) and well trained local camp staff. A cheery greeting from the lowly night watchman says a lot about how a camp is run.

All the Nomad guides (including the one who took us for a day trip into Arusha NP) were very knowledgeable and wanted to share this - for instance they all preferred to "talk you through" identification of a bird (flight pattern, habitat, solitary or group) rather than just giving you a name. The guides at Greystoke really did know the chimps individually and were most keen to point out their favourites, but also really knew their stuff on other species and birds." "Best ever safari"

I visited Tanzania between 15 Aug 2009 and 24 Aug 2009
"I have been on safari many times but I rate this holiday as the best.

The internal flights meant that we lost very little precious time in the bush. We were on a game drive at 9.30 am on day 1 after a short flight from Arusha to Kuro and we saw a leopard in a tree before lunch.

Our morning flight to Kogatende gave us time to see a river crossing before lunch.

Suggestions for improvements:

Difficult to improve on the best." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 8 on a Tanzania safari

"Family trip to Tanzania"

I visited Tanzania between 15 Jul 2009 and 30 Jul 2009
"Excellent. The places we visited and wildlife we saw were wonderful. A great experience for the children. The guides were excellent. Accomodation generally excellent with a couple of exceptions.

Wish we had spent at least a day in Arusha NP.

Suggestions for improvements:

No - I think your advice was excellent

Only thing for us would be if you could help customers who come a cropper with BA like us!

Thank you for your help in setting up a brilliant trip." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 12 on a Tanzania safari

"Safari in Tanzania, short trip to Zanzibar"

I visited Tanzania and 2 other countries between 5 Jun 2009 and 20 Jun 2009
"We had an absolutely brilliant safari - we saw loads of animals, more than I had expected. Our guide Halifa was fantastic - he was an amazing spotter, I don't know how he found all the animals but he did it somehow. He was also really helpful and would help out with any problem or enquiry. We also really liked him - very easy to get along with. I would recommend him to anyone going to Tanzania. All the camps we stayed in were excellent, again I'd have no problem recommending any of them. Staff were always helpful and friendly. All the people we met in the camps were very happy and very pleased with the guides and the camps.

The Shooting Star in Zanzibar was very nice, and again the staff very helpful. I think we enjoyed the safari part of the trip more, though - Zanzibar was more a place to relax and do nothing and we're not very good at that! Four nights was enough.

Ellie helped us with the booking and she has been great - she didn't mind any of us ringing up with lots of questions, and could always give you a sensible answer. She really knew her stuff!" Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 7 on a Tanzania safari

"Good trip."

I visited Tanzania between 20 Oct 2008 and 31 Oct 2008
"As previously described it was a trying and frustrating start. The camps were superb.

Every single connection made was flawless.

Perhaps another jeep in each camp would give more choice.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Would be interested in Uganda but you dont do it. Why is this?

Worthy of consideration perhaps?" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 6 on a Tanzania safari

"Yet again Expert Africa did a wonderful job!

There did seem to be a breakdown in communication though with dietary requirements (some places weren't aware and then struggled to cater accordingly).

Suggestions for improvements:

We have no further comments other than to say we've never hesitated in recommending Expert Africa." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 6 on a Tanzania safari

"Chada 5 Greystoke 1"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 16 Sep 2008 and 29 Sep 2008
"The trip was absolutely fantastic, the game in Katavi stunning and the Chimp expereince breath taking.

Katavi deserves a week and Mahale needs the four nights if you are a keen wildlife buff. The trip was well organised and once again EA came up with the goods.

This is probably my best ever trip so far owing to the wildlife and the great friends I made along the way.

Suggestions for improvement:

I think you have everything about right. A personal service is always worth paying for, a good personal service that delivers what it promises is woth it's weight in gold. Once again thank you for another great trip and I will be back for more next year." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 10 on a Tanzania safari
