"My Sep 2022 trip"
Quite often, we were the only people seeing the animals, and it felt incredibly intimate. So close. We could almost touch them.
Both drivers were excellent, enabling us to position ourselves and find the animals approaching us.
Every moment was an adventure.
Weird, how strangely comforting it was to have lions, rather than buffaloes roaming the Mara camp.
Fantastic to see so many babies in the flourishing conservancies.
We met other people, including a charming couple of American twins Paula and Sue who shared our view, that we were fortunate to have found you on the Internet." Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 11 on a Kenya safari

Aided by Expert Africa again, we stuck to what we knew had worked. All the camps continued to be oustanding and the wildlife experience was once again wonderful yet completely different than last time.
We fell in love with Tanzania the first time, and we love it even more now.
Simply magical.

Absolutely not, its been amazing from the outset, and even through the Covid nightmare you managed to keep us up beat and informed.
The only sadness this trip was the relocation of Olakira away from the river which was enforced by local authorities apparently. A great shame because the game experience and game drives were decidely poorer for the extra driving and diversions away from some riverside areas that this relocation requires. Can't be helped and of course if we'd not been there in 2017, we'd have no comparison.
We were only disappointed by the quality of the wine offered with meals. It really was at best average.. We had been spoiled by having Stellenbosch wines in 2017! And we do appreciate that economies may be necessary after the Covid pandemic." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 11 on a Tanzania safari

The only disappointment was the game viewing at Little Vumbura which was below exceptions, however the camp itself was great." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari
"Our best safari ever"
As always Expert Africa's excellent website meant we were able to plenty of research ahead of talking to Claire who then ensured everything ran smoothly and with the least discomfort. A big thank you to her for suggesting our stay at Pioneer Camp at the start and organising for us to spend the afternoon at the Ciela Resort instead of the airport on our way home.

Jessica has been an absolute diamond in helping get this trip sorted. We moved things around more than once and Jessica was brilliant in sorting out our needs.
Thank you Jessica :).
Thanks so much for helping us get this organised. This was an expensive trip (for us) so are really pleased it all worked perfectly.
We had such a fantastic time." Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 17 on a Tanzania safari
"My Sep 2022 trip"
It was a long trip, with a busy schedule almost everyday, and some long drives (to me, as I don’t really enjoy sitting in a vehicle for long). I would do it differently next time, as I would have liked to have more time to spend relaxing in some of the lovely camps. There were many highlights from the trip, but the best one was seeing the spotted hyaena in Etosha, he was very close to our vehicle, as we took pictures of him, he turned around and stared at us, it was a very special moment.
We did and saw so much in three weeks with lots of different activities including sand boarding which was great fun. The people in Namibia were very special, and I felt fortunate to have met some of them and to experience this incredible country. I wanted to come to Namibia over ten years ago after my photographer friend mentioned about the special landscape. After seeing the pictures of Sossusvlei on the internet, I was hooked and determined to visit one day. The planning of this trip during the Covid lockdown gave me hope and kept my sanity, and I enjoyed the researching and planning of the entire trip, and discovering all the amazing things that this country had to offer.
I was very glad and felt fortunate too to have come across Expert Africa to organise the trip for us. Everything went extremely smoothly, I could not have wished for a better tour operator to make the arrangements for us. I also enjoyed very much working with Maruska on this trip. She’s extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient with the requests and changes that I had.
Due to Covid, the trip had to be postponed for one year. During that time, Maruska and I got to speak to each other many times to arrange the trip, and she felt more like a friend. I hope our friends will consider going to Namibia after seeing the hundreds of pictures that we have taken. It is such a special place. I’m looking forward to returning, and hopefully, my family from Asia will join me next time.
Thank you, Expert Africa and Maruska, for this successful, fun and memorable experience!" Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

Could not fault Expert Africa who we have travelled with many times and keep coming back to as they are excellent at all the logistics and we never have had a problem.
We never have to worry that we will be stranded on an air strip somewhere!" Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 5 on a Zambia safari
"BIrd Island and La Dige again"
Nowhere on the paperwork did it tell us that we had to complete the Travel Authorisation Republic of Seychelles on the internet and have our landing QR codes for immigration available BEFORE we flew.
This required .jpg files of our passports, our face pictures , our covid details and our accommodation and holiday plans. Just the type of things one has at the boarding gate.
After the first panic attack we found a quiet place and sat down with tablet and phones and filled in pages on line for the Seychelles authorities. An hour later and £140 pound the poorer and we had from the authorities two QR codes and completed authorised forms.
Thank goodness we travel with two tablets and two phones and most of our details are on one of the tablets.
We were not alone in not having the QR codes and being refused boarding that day and I wonder how many holidays were ruined." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 10 on a Seychelles holiday
